About me
Melissa Miles serves as the Director of Federal Programs and the Curriculum and Instructional Coordinator for Harrison County Schools, bringing 24 years of experience in education to her role.
Melissa began her career as a first-grade teacher. She then served as an instructional coach, supporting teachers in strengthening instructional practices and implementing effective curriculum strategies. Her leadership journey continued as an elementary principal. Most recently, she is working at the district office, contributing to district-wide initiatives and federal program oversight.
Outside of her professional life, Melissa is the proud mother of one daughter.
