About me
I came to Campbellsville University in the fall of 2018 to help develop the school's new graduate educational leadership program. Previously, I had served in a similar capacity for Asbury University and Morehead State University.
I am a former school principal of a U.S. Blue Ribbon School, served in the Highly Skilled Educator school leader support program at the Kentucky Department of Education, and as Director of Instructional Support and Adult Education at KEDC (the education cooperative in Ashland).
I have authored, co-authored, edited or co-edited 15 books on school organizational health and servant leadership with Rowman & Littlefield and Kendall Hunt, along with several published articles on the topic.
My wife Denise is a graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary, and we co-pastor Claylick United Methodist Church near Lawrenceburg, Ky. We live in a stone log home on 5 acres near Midway, Ky.
My hobbies include enjoying the outdoors, traveling, reading, writing, and rooting for the Cincinnati Reds, and all UK sports. *I also enjoy going to Peddler's Malls with Denise.
We have two grown daughters (Lauren and Bethany, and granddaughter Corrie Brooke--our 1st grandchild, 8yrs. old, and her brother, Cade, our 2nd grand--6 yrs. old). Both of our girls are grads of Asbury University.
We have been richly blessed!
