With 29 years of experience in education, I have dedicated my career to improving student outcomes and strengthening school communities. My professional journey spans a wide range of leadership and instructional roles, including classroom teacher, assistant principal, principal, instructional supervisor, Human Relations Director, and GEAR UP academic coach. This breadth of experience has given me a deep understanding of teaching, learning, and systemic school improvement from both instructional and administrative perspectives.Throughout my career, I have been recognized for my commitment to equity, academic excellence, and collaborative leadership. As a school and district leader, I have supported educators through coaching, professional development, and data-informed instructional practices, while also fostering positive school climates grounded in respect and strong human relations. My work as a GEAR UP academic coach further reflects my passion for preparing students for postsecondary success.
